Chess at Home

We play on lichess.org, a great website for not just kids, but anyone to play the fun game of chess. On lichess.org, students will be able to challenge each other to games and play in our summer weekly online tournaments.

Our camps and classes are for beginner to intermediate chess players that are ages 5 to 14.

We hold all our camps and all our one hour long classes over Google Meet and use chess.com to teach tactics and use lichess.org to teach things such as openings, end game play, and plans for the middle game.

Our head coach is a high schooler who has played chess competitively for over five years with significant teaching experience, having taught the game for over three years. All our coaches have significant tournament experience and have all taught chess for a minimum of one year. This combined teaching and playing experience as well as us all being high schoolers allows us to have a great connection with our students as we can relate to them, since we were in their situation not so long ago.
